Tiziano Terzani is Superman, at least on italian media.

It's incredible the way that italian media loves Tiziano Terzani, one of the few journalists from Italy who lived in Asia, telling funny stories and pieces of impressing war chronicles. He loved Asia people, except Japanese who probably too rich and educated to treat him like a important and intelligent person.

When he died he has reached the "prophet level", after a mystical religious odyssey started listening to fortune tellers in central Hong Kong and following their advices. After some years he was better than the most famous crucified one as that one said "Why have you forsaken me?". Terzani died very happy knowing the true meaning of life (the one you can find in a discount new age shop) and now sits in Nirvana.

I'm pretty sure that his articles there are many pages were inspired by an Australian Journalist, but i can't remember the name of that one, I only remember He was raised in Australia and worked at least for a summer in a cattle farm, after He got fluent in Japanese and died very old.
